I recently discovered an article that discussed the comments of New York Giants Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Basically saving everyone a trip to go read that article it gest of it states that He thinks that NFL players should get paid more than MLB or NBA players due to the physical nature of the NFL being greater than that of the MLB or NBA. He makes a good point and it got me thinking about the topic. I normally always looked at salaries on a sports by sports basis and normally only when it refers to salary cap issues and things of that nature. Though this got me thinking on a whole other level of comparing the salaries from sport to sport mainly dealing with the big three of NBA, NFL, and MLB. Instead of sitting here trying to make an argument why one particular sport’s players should make more than the other ill just provide you with the relevant numbers and basic information regarding this topic to allow you to form your own decision.
